Loving home in the country needed for this beautiful, sweet boy.
Very sad to say that we're looking for a home for Astro, a handsome, healthy and delightful 5 year old, neutered male Bengal cat.
Because we’re so close to a busy road, we put up a fence with cat proofing on the top to protect him.
Being stuck in a small fenced-in area with every cat in the neighbourhood using the garden as a throughway and teasing him is more than this poor boy can take!
We have two other cats, one an ancient Bengal who has his own room, that Astro gets along OK with, and a female stray whom we took in, that he does not seem to get on with at all, so we keep them separate.
We feel he would be good with cat-friendly children and that he could get used to being with a cat-friendly dog too, but we think he would prefer to be an only cat.
He's very talkative and really enjoys attention, grooming and play and is very intelligent so would make a great companion. He is affectionate (on his terms of course) and likes a good snuggle.
He is very healthy, on a meat only diet, and is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
He is a brilliant mouser, but an absolute big softy with people.
Obviously, like any new pet, it’ll take a little time to settle in, but please rest assured we are very happy to take him back immediately if you find he isn’t a good fit.
He's very amenable and will generally come when called, and he lets me clean his teeth, and he loves his treats.
And he loves to be scratched under the chin, and loves playing in boxes with plastic bags - dare I say he has a plastic bag fetish.
